Ubuntu 9.10 Clipboard Manager

I had no idea that Ubuntu’s behavior was different than that on Windows or OSX.

When I first noticed that closing an application will clear anything saved in the clipboard from that application, I thought it was a bug. Knowing linux devs, they think it’s a feature.

Anyway, this article helped me diagnose what was going on.

You can install the “Clipboard Manager” Parcellite through synaptic or from the terminal using apt-get. I have no idea why it’s not installed and run by default.

So I’m a little late to the party, but here’s my comprehensive review of Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.

(1) It looks the same.

(2) It acts the same.

(3) The new exposé sucks.

Blogging is dead

Blogging has always been totally unfruitful for me in the past. However, I’ve always tried talking about stuff that I’ve been doing or things that I’ve seen.

Instead I’m going to try talking mostly about things that I want to do. We’ll see where that gets me.
